Jewish Music Video: Gospel Version Shwekey

I'm not sure why I haven't seen this video yet but I cam across it today and it's very interesting. As you will see below here are some singers performing a gospel/R&B version of Racheim.The question of course is who are these guys? Are they non- Jews who got paid to sing the songs phonetically?(This has been done on Jewish recordings before-backup singers who aren't Jewish singing phonetically). Or perhaps Ethiopian Jews? Based on the way they sing Shwekey's Racheim ,one must conclude they have no idea what they are singing: as they sing a sad or melancholy song with a happy upbeat vibe-strange.
