Romney Bows Out! McCain a Sure Thing....

To the surprise of some voters, Mitt Romney suspended his presidential campaign today. He has effectively sealed a win for Senator John McCain as the Republican nominee. Romney explained that although he hates to lose, he loves his country more. Bowing out of the race now will give McCain more time to focus on luring the conservative base and campaign even more effectively against the Democrats. As Obama and Clinton duke it out for the final finish, McCain can set his sites on the prize without much worry of any opponents in his party. Romney said that during a time of war he felt it was the right thing to do: "I simply cannot let my campaign, be a part of aiding a surrender to terror." Certainly many conservative republicans are not happy about this latest development. McCain will have to work hard to convince conservatives that he can represent them well in Washington.

Weschester: NO MORE LIGHT BULBS!

Another Bright idea by Democrats to fight Global Warming. County Legislator Martin Rogowsky (D, IN, WF – Harrison) wants to eliminate all incandescent bulbs for all Westchester County-owned facilities after December 31, 2007. He would also try to ban the sale of incandescent light bulbs in the county after December 31, 2009.Well it's the first day of spring today and it was a freezing 25 degrees this morning, so much for global warming. The problem is the Liberals are looking to fight this front to get attention for bigger government over your life. For people who are not well off those energy efficient light bulbs are pretty costly. Maybe what we are really experiencing is Global Cooling that sounds more credible to me, at least this morning anyway. Now that Oscar winning, Presidential losing, Al Gore (he created the global warming) is talking to Congress about why he's important..umm no wait it was why global warming is important and it will be a great way to promote his film called...well I'm not going to promote it here....
