As a new resident of Texas I take pride in reading that Dallas has their first locally produced torah scroll! You can read more about this great achievement here. The scribe of this work is Rabbi Avraham Bloomenstiel of Congregation Toras Chaim and they decided to developed a website to introduce everyone to the world of the sofer (safrut).
