Aaron Hoodin, a ninth-grade student at Sandy Creek High School attempted to mix a little
science and religion. His science project consisted of the idea that the
longer the shofar, which is a ram's horn and one of the earliest instruments used in Jewish music, the greater the difference in sound levels. Aaron borrowed the 10 shofars needed for the experiment from members of his synagogue. The end result was there was no relationship between size and sound. Interesting....
