The condemned Opera...

Opera News > The Met Opera Guild reports that the Simon Wiesenthal Center is outraged by the John Adams opera The Death of Klinghoffer, a fictionalized account of the murder of an elderly Jewish American tourist by Palestinian terrorists aboard the cruise ship Achille Lauro.
Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, as being "beyond contempt," and a production that should be boycotted when it makes its British stage premiere on August 23, the Guardian reported.

Let's see what the Brits say about it. Hope it doesn't make a penny.
