Pope to join the minyan...

Catholic World News reports the pope is to visit a synagogue in Cologne when he travels to the German city for World Youth Day in August.
Cardinal Meisner said that the visit to the Jewish community will be a valuable symbolic reminder that Jews and Christians are brothers and sisters, and that the hatred that marked the Holocaust "must not be repeated."

Nice PR piece for the Pope, I hope it is sincere. He already has a yarmalka so he's one step ahead.

a step? in the short months he has been pope he has already met with world jewish leaders...the first meeting of leaders of another faith since he became pope was with the jews.
