Would you pay $500 for a cup of coffee?
Newsday reports on a Rabbi who asked to be served coffee in a dispoable cup because of Kashruth reasons at the Nations Cafe on First Avenue and the request was refused. This battle of discrimination has been going on for 13 Yrs! He was finally awarded $500 for his "mental anguish" by the state Division of Human Rights. Talk about not letting go.....

The rabbi was right, the shop owner was wrong. Good story. Happy ending. More people should stand up and fight for what is right. It's only right.
