Sunday is usually a day when I can spend some quality time with both my wife and daughter (she's almost 2). Today we decided it would be nice to revisit the zoo since we haven't been there since November. My daughter loves animals and is certainly not shy around them. While at the petting zoo my daughter attempted to pet many different animals several times. While other children ran away as the various animals poked their respective noses through the fence, my daughter kept exclaiming "touch it!" and"peek a boo"! Although the Queens Zoo may not have all the bells and whistles of other zoos it does have great benefits. 1)It's close by2)It's relatively inexpensive ($5 for s, children under 3 are free). 3)Parking is not too difficult and is free. 4) You can go through the whole zoo within 2-3 hours. We even got to see them feed the Sea Lions which I was surprised to see were quite large.
Sea Lions are big:)
