Hollywood and their fascination with Kaballah (well if we can really call it that)

As I mentioned here, there is an ongoing cult like following for Kaballah. It's certainly drawing a lot of Hollywood stars as well as their pocketbooks. Here is a look atABC 20/20's take one what is going on. They certainly got this part right:

In cryptic and mystical terms, Kabbalah explores the nature of God and the universe. Rabbis have traditionally believed the philosophy behind it is so complicated that it could only be taught to ultra-religious Jewish men over 40 who had spent their lives studying Judaism.

It's certainly becoming a new religion of sorts and it should be exposed for what it is: a new type of cult who pray on people who are looking for some way to do what they want but remain spiritual. It's not all that different from Scientology in that respect.
