This just in:
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon says a peace agreement will finally be signed, but its success depends on the peace between the Palestinians and Israel.

Sharon spoke to Jewish groups in New York on the second day of a US visit aimed at pushing his plan to withdraw Jewish settlers from the Gaza Strip.
Sharon says he intends to stay in control of large settlement blocs in other parts of the West Bank. He's ruling out a full return of territory captured in the 1967 Mideast War. That's a key demand of the Palestinians.
Sharon is also refusing to allow Palestinian refugees into Israel.
But, the Prime Minister says he recognizes the controversy caused by his unilateral pullout plan.
If this all depends on the peace between Israel and Palestinians, I think we know where this is
all going.
