Touro College in Hot Water: Fake Diplomas Found!

Certainly a PR nightmare for Touro College of Manhattan: Former admissions director Andrique Baron, former computer center director and 3 New York City public school teachers have been brought up on charges of a "money for grades" ploy. Currently there are a total of 10 individuals who have been indicted in this scheme. The charges are quite serious and include tampering with and altering grades as well as degrees for people that never even entered the college. An example of the degrees given out:physicians' assistants!

He Made it To Law and Order:Now the Law has Him!

David Wayne, 48, of Croton-on-Hudson had been in prison for 14 years where he took up acting. After serving his time and working in the "Rehabilitation Through the Arts" program at Sing Sing, he managed to land a part in a Law & Order segment and even a Denzel Washington movie. You would think with these kind of accomplishments this man might continue on the path of the straight and narrow. This man was arrested back on Dec1. after someone recognized his sketch in conjunction with a string of crimes committed with him strapping fake dynamite to his chest and stealing money. He was sentenced to 15 more years of good time in prison perhaps he will continue acting like a thief....behind bars.

Long Island Crime Spree....

There is a group of organized crime that are terrorizing the Long Island community. They seem to be quite brazen in their theft attempts and if you live on the Island you should be vigilante. Their concept is to take advantage of your kindness i.e. they come with a kid who must use your bathroom, you let him in and they ransack your place from the back or front door. Beware!
