No more cavities? Just dab some gel!

A new breakthrough in dentistry may be on it's way to a dentist near you. Until now, fillings and crowns were the way to deal with cavities but hopefully not forever. These costly and painful ( and painfully costly) procedures may be a thing of the past: a new technology  being devloped called MSH, or melanocyte-stimulating hormone, when placed inside a cavity via a  peptide in a gel or film it can regenerate the tooth in about a month. This product could not come soon enough as I do need to see a dentist. Unfortunately the news on this discovery is it  will probably be a few years till we see it on the market.
