The vending machine has certainly gone through a metamorphosis over the years. It's interesting to note that the very first vending machine is said to have been developed by Hero Alexandria a first century inventor selling "holy water". Eventually it became popular with newspapers and soda dispensing. More recently you may have seen Ice cream as well as hot food vending machines. Well get ready for Cell Phone vending machines ( photo on left) being produced by Motorola! The phones will come with or without phone plans. Unlike soda machines however, this machine will dispense your phone with a robotic arm( which you can shake afterwards...ok maybe not). What's next for the vending machine?
