Kosher Food on Cruelty to Animals....

The Sun Times has an interesting article about a delicacy known as Foie gras. I personally never ate it and until today was not certain as to what it was, so I looked it up. Foie gras is French for fat liver ( sounds like a good name to call your enemy). The production of this delicacy has angered all animal group activists who claim it is cruelty to animals. There is currently a vote in chicago to repeal the ban and this has some of Jewish community leaders in Chicago quite upset. The Jewish leaders in question are threatening the City Council's Jewish members with the wrath of G-D should they repeal this ban.
