Police arrest woman going through a purse or was it a man?

This story is hysterical! Police had arrested a man rumaging through a woman's purse. The man claimed to be a woman and this is were the problem started. He was in actuality a trangender ( or transformer?). The lower courts had ruled that he/she was not supposed to be arrested since a woman going through a purse should not be suspicous. The state Supreme Court's Appellate Division thankfully reversed this decision on the basis that the police were unaware he considered himself a woman. The fact that he/she had a 3 day stubble on his amug shot certainly didn't help his/her case.
