How to fix your Scratched CD's...

I have some very scratched up CD's and I'm looking into how to fix them best. It seems based on the comment thread there are a variety of opinions on the subject. The questions is which one do I use? Toothpaste or peanutbutter, Pinesol or wood polish?hmmmmmm..........
