Will the US look at Israel for security fence technique?

Newsday reports that could look at Israel as a test case for a securit fence on the Mexican border.The article points out that the Mexican reaction to the U.S. plan sounded strikingly similar to long-standing Palestinian complaints that the solution is cruel, humiliating and fails to address deeper problems straining relations.
