I recently got a basic cable channel as there is no reception in my area. I had recently read but now had actually scene Shmuley Boteach and his Reality TV Show: Shalom in the Home. To some he is Dr Phil with a yarmulka or Ghandi-does-reality-tv. I personally am no fan of the idea of someone who is wearing a yarmulka ( at least in this episode) talking to some lesbian couple and explaining how to cope with a particular problem. The whole concept just rubs me the wrong way, especially the idea that he's called a Rabbi after stories like this as well as his book.

Do tell. is it really bad for a person with a yarmulka to talk to a gay person?
Thanks for asking the question. You can disagree with me but in this particular episode by simply being with this couple he seems to agree with the lifestyle. When you start to give validation that's when the trouble begins as we have already seen. I wouldn't expect a liberal to understand that.
