BloginDM has an excellent post where he compares the top 20 Jewish Music lists of 2 competing publications: Country Yossi and Lifestyle Magazine. He points out as Life-ofRubin has opreviously, how ridiculous the rating system is. Country Yossi rates an albumof Eli Gerstner's at #16 which has yet to be released! Is there no shame? Well we know that answer. The funny part is where BloginDM points out that Shimon Kugel's release is at #3 in Lifestyle while it gets no mention at all in CY. He attributes this to the articles ads which are the cause for these differences. He left out one important point however. Shimon Kugels son OWNS Lifestyle magazine and he can place his fathers' album at any number he wishes.

I was going to email 'Dm about this. That has to be the pinnacle of unethical advertising. Why don't these people think this is wrong?
Because they are too busy with fame and fortune ( although I can't imagine his father makes anything off those albums)
