Pioneer Press has a review on John Zorn and the Electric Masada:
Zorn's strength as a composer is the absence of musical snobbery. Although his work has elements of klezmer, classical, free-jazz and other exotic styles, he's just as likely to draw on surf music, Delta blues or even heavy-metal thunder. Friday night, those colors were provided by versatile guitarist Ribot, who takes full advantage of his arsenal of digital effects to mold the sound of his guitar.
