AP reports that a hijacker of the1985 terrorist seizure of a TWA jet in which a U.S. Navy diver was killed has been released. Mohammed Ali Hamadi, has been previously serving a 19 year sentence in Germany and is now out and about on parole. The U.S. is asking Lebanon to turn him over for trial in the killing of the diver. Here is what is even more disturbing than his release:
Still at large are Hamadi's three accomplices _ Hassan Izz-Al-Din, Ali Atwa and Imad Mughniyeh, the former Hezbollah security chief who is also accused in the kidnappings of Americans in Beirut _ who each were indicted in the United States and have a $5 million U.S. bounty on their heads.
People like this should never be allowed to see the light of day.
