I had mentioned previously how New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer had come under fire lately. The Forward has an article about how the The National Council of Young Israel got into some trouble with Spitzer's office. It really airs out some dirty laundry and is certainly a chilul hashem to say the least. There were some serious Medicaid fraud among other issues that had been found. The point of contention is that Spitzer's office never had the NCYI sign an agreement and that everything was verbal.
