Chanukah and the art of frying..

Chanukah is almost here and that means I must master the the Art of Frying. Shoshana Barer, author of "The Jewish Maven Cookbook" recommends peanut oil and warns that the temperature of the oil must be just right. Hot enough to sputter, but not so hot that it smokes.

I can smell the latkes already.....
