As Chiam mentioned previously, Hillary and now Rice-o-roni (AKA Condoleezza) both of whom are considered possible 2008 presidential candidates made their way to Israel in time for the commemorations of the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin. The article points out that Hillary won her seat in the senate despite angering Jewish groups by embracing Yassir Arafat’s wife Suha in 1999 at an event where the latter accused Israelis of using poison gas. Should she run for president however, she'll need as many votes as she can get. I guess it couldn't hurt to throw the more conservative orthodox Jews a bone by supporting the Israel’s West Bank separation barrier. I doubt any conservatives will be fooled by either of these women and their attempts but it's certainly worth a try.

She doesnt need to kiss up to the frum vote. Every single orthodox jew in new york did not vote for it wouldnt matter, she still would win the state.
She said the things she said today to show how she feels, and she showed more understanding and backbone in two minutes than the entire bush administration combined have shown in 5 years.
