The EJP has an interesting article concerning French kosher wines : a niche-market. In the article the President of the wine waiter association of Paris, Jean-Michel Deluc says:
"“I had the chance to compare the same vintage, kosher and not. There is a real difference. Kosher wines are bad tasting, their smells are weird, there it's less acidity. The wine ages quicker than a non-kosher wine. Some castles produce kosher vintages of high quality but it'’s rare."”
Are there any good tasting Kosher French wines? Yes, he says: Chateau Marlartic Lagraviere. Maybe I'll check it out....
