Gambling killed his life!

There is no question that gambling is a major problem facing many people today. With internet gambling the problem is certainly worse. You no longer have to go to AC just boot up your computer and poof, you have a casino in your ( pick your room with your computer). I bring this point up due to a conversation I had today with a friend of mine. His brother ( G-d help him) has gotten himself into a bundle of trouble with law. I knew his brother who was a frum friendly kid who growing up learned, davened and was quite frum. He got married and had children but it seems certain issues started to rear their ugly head. His gambling problem started to ruin his marriage and his life. The end was this: He went to several jewelry stores and gave them bogus checks. He stole around $80,000 and even left one of the stores his drivers license as to insure payment. He made up bogus pay stubs to show how much money he was making. He once came home and claimed he had aids. He was sent to a clinic by his family where he tested negative. He had to be tested again (procedure I guess) and it came back positive. More tests came back positive, however it seems that he bribed someone and took their tests results ( or something like that). My friend's brother is a real twisted individual who has gone off the deep end. He is now has a warrant out for his arrest and has fled somewhere but is thought to be in the US still.
To make matters worse his wife is expecting. My friend says if he ever finds him he will certainly turn him in to the authorities as he in dire need of serious help and thinks he can never be cured. Gambling kills lives!
