Al Aronowitz dies at 77.....

I'm personally not familiar with Al Aronowitz who died Aug. 1 of cancer at a hospital in Elizabeth, N.J. He was 77. One of his claims to fame was that he introduced the Beatles to Bob Dylan and, he claimed, to marijuana (not something I would brag about but that's just me). The part of the article that I found rather interesting was that his father was an Orthodox Jewish butcher. Where did Al go wrong? He certainly was no dummy however, he graduated with a Phi Beta Kapa (as did the Noveminsker Rebbe but I think that's were the similarities end). Perhaps if he would have stuck with Jewish Rock journalism (huh?) he would have remained religious. He could have introduced (Religious Jewish rock star name inserted here) instead and perhaps that someone could have kept him on the right road. Who knows?
