I would love to see some Rabbanim denounce the outrageous price gouging that envelopes the Passover holiday. A store in monsey
was selling a box of cookies (kosher for Passover of course)
for $4.19. This very same box was being sold at another store
( in a similar vicinity) for $2.19! The other store actually had another
store owned by the same owner who also has a food business. I have
factored in the idea that the cheaper price was due to getting a better deal for larger quantity and it is certainly not the case.
People should not patronize stores that are exploiting the Passover holiday to make some more money.
