Well in the end my Rosh Hashanah davening went well B"H. It turned out to be a very chilled out situation since when I started it was not very full. As the davening continued I felt more at ease and I felt I was really getting into the swing of things. Now I have to gear up for Yom Kippur which will prove to be a bit more difficult as it is longer. The shul seemed to have been happy with their choice and hopefully this will be a great stepping stone for my future cantorial aspirations.

that's wonderful! How about post a piece or two of your cantorial work so we can all enjoy??
That's an interesting idea but the truth is most of it is striclty nusach there really aren't many pieces in shachris :)
