Sharon beats Netanyahu for Likud

Reuters.com reports Sharon beat out Netanyau by a slight margin for leadership of the Likud party: 51.3 percent to 47.6 percent. This win averted a possible early election which now buys him more time to build back support he losed in the aftermath of the "disengagement".
