Novominskers save the wedding...

My father told me he had attended a wedding the other night. It took place at one of the many new wedding halls in Brooklyn. The groom was a baal tzshuva who had davaned in the shul for many years. The wedding hall was quite large and being there were not so many guests there was plenty of room to dance..perhaps too much room it seemed. My father had to sit down as he had a bad knee etc. As he sat down he heard some very hard stamping..the floor was moving a bit. He turned around and three lines of bochrim where dancing as if theirvery lives depended on it. My father claims the dancing was very eloberate not some typical circle move-along-the-train dance. Evidently the caterer realized the dancing would be shevach(weak) ( perhaps due to the size of the hall and how many guests would be invited) and got students from the Novominsk Yeshiva to come and dance between shiurim.
