Bringing the Shabbos to appliances....

It's pleasing to know that more and more applicance manufacturers are taking notice of a growing concern among thier Jewish orthodox customers. The problem is that new technology is making things difficult for the "sabbath observant" Jews. Digital displays are popping up everywhere from stoves to refridgerators and they present halachic issues. To combat these concerns, companies like KitchenAid and |Maytag have been working with the Star K to incorparate these new models with the "Sabbath mode". This mode might turn off digital displays on a fridge and stop the lights from going on when opened. Who could ask for anything more?

Well for starters... I do and if you actually read the post you would know why.
also if you want to talk about someone it's usually a good idea to say his/her name so we know who the heck you are talking about.
