BLOG FIGHTS! Areyh Extends the Olive Branch but it Falls

On the floor... The Jewish Music Blog has been smacked hard by the introduction of MeanJBlogs. In this latest part of the saga Aryeh attempts to hand out an olive branch but it's thrown out by his nemeses. Do you think he should shut down his blog or just apologize or something else perhaps (7 days of community service?). I found it a bit comical that Aryeh tried to review 2 albums at once namely Yitzy Spinner and Pruz. The idea that Pruz sounds more genuine in his singing of the songs is a ridiculous statement: If for no other reason than simple logic. Who would sound more genuine to you? Someone who actually wrote his OWN song and sang it or someone singing something that a songwriter wrote for him? Enough said. Hey that's just my opinion....

I normally respect your opinion, but your conclusion is wrong.

Please read my post. I am not referring to MeanJBlogs - like I said, I have no problem with blogs that bash me directly. Apparently you can't pick up on subtlety, as I hinted to several times. What blog do you know that doesn't have comments and uses the term "nom-de-blog". Please use your head.

Ok I reread the post but the fact still remains he's claiming you are delting his comments. Assuming that's true how does that help. He already wrote he has no interest. I'm simply commenting on those facts. Frankly I find this back and forth banter somewhat comical.

whats the problem? you delete comments all the time

Anon,

As do many bloggers and it's their perogative. However if you are requesting that someone respond to your criticism in your comment section and you just delete what they write what's the point in asking?

Im confused, you have an issue with BloginDm? Aryeh - normally I would defend you, but it seems you dont have anyone on your side. You have been getting even meaner in your reviews. Also I think pruzanskys cd was a waste of time. Sorry.

Anon,

I'm referring to Aryeh's blog you really should just read the links I posted.

Aryeh is mad at BloginDM because BloginDm wrote this post

http://blogindm.blogspot.com/2007/11/111507-link-dump.html

that made fun of Aryeh for criticizing Spinner that he writes all his own material and tried new styles. Which is funny because the lack of those two things is part of whats wrong with todays shiny shoe (pruzs album) music today.

I think this blog war is bigger then we think!!

he also called him a music snob, but that was tounge in cheek, referencing that silly interview they did in some college newspaper, talking to the steiner like he was some expert.

Steiner doesnt let alot of comments go though , so i will say it here that one of the things that makes dm's site so great is his lack of comments ability. it works for his sight it doesnt for many. since its a loshon hora laden subject, he can contain the commentary and then post positive or negative comments that are substantive to the conversation.

I don't really see a problem in reviewing 2 albums side by side. I think Aryeh just wanted illustrate his point by comparing the two albums, which is not a big deal.

I also don't agree with his comments on Spinner, btw.

Spinner fan who isnt spinner himself - leave my friend baila alone. :)
