After 20 long Years This Woman Got a Divorce

These stories just wrench your heart: A woman in France became an agunah after her husband left her and just disappeared. After 20 years the family received word that the husband was being held in an Isreali prison. They contacted Israel Prison Service's chief rabbi, Yehuda Yekutiel Vizner who eventually found the missing husband who agreed to sign the divorce papers. Looks like both husband and wife were prisoners and finally the wife was released.

That is a crazy story! I wonder why it took authorities so long to capture this man-I guess the French and Israelis are not the closest allies.
