Rudy Giuliani and the Red Sox

Many New Yorkers may think Rudy can't be trusted anymore. Not after his recent comments on backing the Boston Red Sox to win the World Series. Rudy Guliani was talking at a news conference in Boston the other day when he made those remarks. In efforts perhaps to explain his apparent betrayal of his life long allegiance to the Yankees, Rudy stated "I'm an American League fan, and I go with the American League team, maybe with the exception of the Mets," he said. "Maybe that would be the one time I wouldn't because I'm loyal to New York." Well there are certainly Yankee fans in NY who think he's sold out. Many non-sports fans would say that since the Yankees aren't in the world series it's no big deal, so why the fuss? The truth is it's very unlikely that Massachusetts would vote for Rudy so I guess you can't say he's really pandering...

There may be more electoral votes but he has little hope of winning in MA

well now that romney pandered to the south base flip flopped on all his liberal views that helped get him elected in ma in the first place, its a real toss up.

wiat, why would anyone vote for flip flopping liberal republicans???

Not that I would vote for Rudy but I would prefer to vote for a candidiate who flip flops on a sports team (as many often do) than one (such as Hillary) who flip flops on important issues to the point where you have no idea what they stand for.

actually the biggest flip floppers in this entire race so far are romney and giuliani.
hillary flips? she is the most consistent of all 2 dozen cnadidates, with the most calculated and controlled campaign.
its people like romney rudy who are all over the place. same iwth mccain's revolving staff door. obama has no consistency now either.

Oh and hillary never flipped on the sports team, some people (like rudy) criticized her just didnt beleive she could root for a different state
