Gas prices were going down for a while and perhaps people were hoping that filling up their SUV's would not be a nightmare! Well I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but OPEC has cut production on oil output. Crude is holding at about$62 a barrel and NY prices seem to be avg. at about $2.40 a gallon, still very pricey.
