Bush stated today, that Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld will be resigning his post. The president will be nominating former CIA Director Robert Gates in his place and from the sound of it he's very qualified for the position. The decision was not made by the outcome of election but I'm sure it didn't help things from the President's perspective. Time will tell as to what kind of bipartisan bills will be coming forth.
