I'm not sure what can be done but when a street known as the "Boulevard of Death" almost claims the life of a Jew coming back from shul something has to change.
The 59-year-old man was hit by a sport utility vehicle traveling west on the major thoroughfare Queens Boulevard around 8 p.m. Monday, the Yom Kippur holiday.
He was in serious condition yesterday and the driver of the vehicle didn't stop either. Let's pray they can save him and catch the culprit. This is the second report of a person hit while going from or to shul. An 8 Yr. old boy is now fighting for his life after a car accidentily hit him. The report claims that the spot of the accident is also dangerous.
