I've been trying to cover the topic of the Shevach Meats debacle as much as I can. Information is flowing all over the place but the facts are hard to place. The latest information I have receieved may explain the one question that has been bothering me. Why would such a (supposed) upsatding memeber of the commuinity feel the need to seel traif? The latest information that may be bring the answer to light is that the owner was involved in heavy gambeling debt. Others are saying the mob etc.. None of this excuses it in anyway but offer some insight as to the atrocity.
