This heat wave has been extremely oppressive. We should be expecting at leat another day of this
ridiculous hot climate, reports Newsday. Con Edison is advising "dont use it or lose it". If NY keeps up this power surge there may be a lot of outages as yesterday was the second largest consumption of megawatts on record. My advice: stay out of the sun as much as you can, drink lots of fluids and stay hydrated. Dress cool and wear light clothing, bring a fan with you etc.
