The 46th annual Cantorial Council of America Convention, entitled "Looking to the Future," will begin this Monday, July 3 at the Newark Airport Hilton in Elizabeth, New Jersey.There will be 3 days of music, educational sessions, and much more. There will also be a gala cantorial concert on Monday night featuring Cantors Pinchas Cohen, Yaakov Motzen, Yaakov Orzich, and Ozzie Schwartz that is free and open to the public. The annual convention dinner will be honoring Cantor Eli Berlinger of the Hebrew Institute of White Plains. For more information, call 212 960 5353.
