About those Weapons of Mass Destruction...

Well this must put a real kink in the armor of liberals across America. Lot's of "I told you so's" will be going around today. You see WMD's WERE found in Iraq, 500 of them which contained mustard and poison nerve gas. I guess Saddam wasn't lying when he bosted having these weapons.
There will be an extended search based on these findings as there is believed to be a lot more that has yet to be uncovered and I predict many more will be found. You can be assured that the media will drop this story after about a day or so since it doesn't feed into anti-bush sentiment like "abu ghraib" which they ran forever. Now that we came out with this great news Democrats are sure to say we are grandstanding and it's a conspiracy.

JB, come on, every self respecting person already knows the GWB planted those "weapons" on his most recent trip there.

Didn't you know? Saddam wasn't such a bad dude. We just had some communication problems. He hadn't gassed anybody in at least ten years .. I mean come on! What's a dude gotta do to get some American love.

Truth is, after Saddam watched Austin Powers, he realized the error of his ways and just wanted to be friends. If we had just learned how to talk to him ... we could have avoided this whole silly war for oil.

(Did I get that right? Just making sure, I'll have to try to bear listening to Air "America" Radio and hear for myself if that's what they will say)

The defense department completely disavowed santorums claim only a few hours later.

Santorum and Hoekstra are hyping a document that describes degraded, pre-1991 munitions that were already acknowledged by the White House’s Iraq Survey Group and dismissed.

Fox News’ Jim Angle contacted the Defense Department who quickly disavowed Santorum and Hoekstra’s claims. A Defense Department official told Angle flatly that the munitions hyped by Santorum and Hoekstra are “not the WMD’s for which this country went to war.”

Well it looks like you leave out things as long as they fit your agenda TTC. How about this quote: "This says weapons have been discovered, more weapons exist, and they state that Iraq was not a WMD-free zone, that there are continuing threats from the materials that are or may still be in Iraq,” said Hoekstra, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

That's Hoekstra's spin to fit his agenda.

Today he is trying to sell it that it was covered by the US to protect China Russia and France.
