Brooklyn Kosher food declining.......

Unlike Flatbush, where you can't go 2 blocks without passing a kosher pizza shop, Brooklyn Hieghts Kosher establishments have been on the decline in recent years. The Daily News reports that this decline is due to the high rents that have only been increasing in this area. All is not lost however, here comes Kwik Kosher: owned and operated by Brauch Yehuda Ganz. The author notes that his "cart is in the right place", this establishment is a kosher pushcart, selling knishes, pastries, sandwiches, soups, cholent and omelets to a steady lunchtime crowd. He is truly welcome in this neighborhood where one can only find a pastrami place and a kosher vegetarian Chinese place.
