Kosher Chef-Jeff Nathan and the Israel Dairy Board

North Jersey Media reports on the 35 gourmet cheeses sent to celebrated chef, Jeff Nathan of "Abigails" restaurant. Among his favorites:Shahat, a strongly flavored sheep cheese from Barkanit Dairy; Gilboa, a Barkanit selection that he likened to a Spanish manchego; an aged Gorgonzola from Hanoked and Gad Dairy's mascarpone. Jeff Nathan, as the article points out has a new kosher cookbook entitled "Jeff Nathan's Family Suppers". As a person who sampled many Manhattan restaurants, I can honestly say Jeff is one superior chef. (The article was even writen by someone named Abigail....what are the chances?)
