ABC News: Many Throw Parties to Toast Divorces. How sick is this? I heard that the Today show discussed this at length. One of the women being being interviewed called it a "bachlorette party in reverse". With the ever increasing divorce rate even among religious Jews, why would this be a point of celebration? The reason is simple: people don't want to deal with the enormity of the problem, they don't want to fix it...let's just get rid of the problem and throw a party! How pathetic....what's next? Teen pregnancy and high school dropout parties?
