Bloomberg defends seriousness of terrorist attack...

ABC News reports Bloomberg stands behind his decision to go public about the threat of an attack to NYC subway system today.

"If I'm going to make a mistake you can rest assured it is on the side of being cautious," Bloomberg said at a news conference, flanked by Police Commissioner Ray Kelly. But he stressed that he did not think that any mistake had been made.

There was a bit of panic this morning as a soda bottle was found with a greenish liquid which turned out to be some kind of drain cleaning substance. The fact that there is no contingency plan as how to evacuate a city with 8 million people, makes these threats are especially scary.
