Long awaited Jewish Album now available!

It took a while but they finally got it released. Barock Orchestra (revamping this website shortly) has their new debut album in stores. Currently it's available in Teaneck, NJ. It's expected to be in most stores by Tuesday.

My buddies Yitzy Spinner and Avraham Solomon are the vocal backbone of this album with some nice added sephardic flavor from BennyAmar. Both Yitzy and Avraham are actually former star soloists of Miami Boys ( back in the day as they say). The featured vocalists are:

Yitzy Spinner, Avraham Solomon, Benny Amar, Ira Heller, Yossi Goldstein and Yitzy Glicksman.

Ira Heller does a great rendition of Mi adir and Mi Bonsiach while Yossi Goldstein sings a heartfelt Im Eshkachech.

This album is quite different from the typical orchesta album in many ways. One major difference is the very authentic Klezmer music which is played and incorperated into various parts of the album. The band as a whole sounds extremely tight but the sound is warm, not cold like some studio cats just playing what's written on their music sheets. I think this album has something for everyone and think it should do quite well. More updates to come....

Only an idiot would assume that you have absolutely nothing to do with or have nothing invested in this particular album.
