Gershon Veroba....Exclusive story...

That headline is a bit over the top. In today's news..Singing sensation Gershon Veroba was caught....Making an album. That's right! Inside sources tell me that Gershon Veroba is in the midst of putting together another album. No particulars are available as to a release date since at this point I believe he's still putting the material together. The last solo album (of Hebrew music)Veroba (or Vorobot as my father-in-law calls him...Don't ask)was entitled "turn it around" in 1998 and featured songs by Yitzy Bald of all people. Here is the one question I ask myself...Why is he putting out an album? It's not as if he's going to sell nearly as many albums as say Shweky of Blue Fringe. Albums are generally expensive to produce and your lucky to break even. The idea of losing money would based on the amount of money you could then charge for your services. The question is this:Gershon is already very well known. He's one of the top requested keyboard players for Neshoma. I understand he can produce a tape cheaper than most with his connections and perhaps arranging most of the music etc. Not sure I understand where he's going with it but I'm sure it will delight his fans regardless. I did buy "turn it around" and thought it was a pretty good album. The mix had certain issues but the songs were not bad.
Keep an eye out for more inside stories.......

Why should he not make an album? I'd gladly pay the 13 bucks for a Veroba Album over anythink that says "shwekey" on it. TIO was very underrated in the "jm velt." Which is stupid considering you had Yizy Bald songs, even abie rotenberg on it too.

I agree however my question is from an economic perspective why put out an album that you'll be lucky to break even on. Like I said he doesn't need the PR he's already well known.
